Smile Just bought Matte Black VMR 718'S, what lug bolts?

Hi all,

I have a Silver/Grey 2004 M3, Just got the matte black vmr 718's and trying to figure out if I should go with black lug bols or silver. Cans eem to find any nice ones as they are just cheap chrome.

Any one else out here have a silver/grey M3 with all black wheels?

Also, Black BMW center cap or VMR center cap?

Any suggestions or pics would be great!

I'd go with black to match the wheels, not a huge fan of contrasting lug bolts on black wheels. I would also keep the VMR centercap, for some reason I think it looks off to have the BMW centercap in there.

OEM lug bolts will work nicely. Mine are still black after all these years, and through some pretty brutal Chicago winters.

I personally like the silver VMR caps to contrast with the wheels a bit. It also looks great when spinning.

This photo isnt our V718, but our MB V701's with VMR Caps and Silver lug bolts for reference.

Why don't you go one step better and go with a Stud Conversion to really make the wheels pop:

Macht Schnell - Competition Stud Conversion Kit (75mm Bullet Tip)

Competition Wheel Stud Kit Features:
- 10.9 Grade Strength Class for ultimate strength and safety
- Bullet Tip prevents cross-threading
- Faster and easier wheel changes
- 75mm length allows for most spacer thicknesses (up to +12mm) to be used without changing studs
- Eliminates the need for balancing the wheel while threading in stock wheel lugs
- Black zinc coating for additional strength and corrosion/wear resistance - Allen key insert for easy installation
- Fits most BMW models

Or you can just do the standard black bolts that we have as well:

Macht Schnell - Wheel Lugs
Let me know if you have any questions.

thanks guys for the comments, decided against the all matte black. I am driving down to Velocity Thursday to exchange the wheels for the V715 in Hyperblack. Will look much cleaner with the Silver/Grey. Will post pics when done
