My Ride: 2002 330i sport pkg.
My last E46 had non-sport seats and my current one has the sport seats. The difference is night and day. The sport seats aren't necessarily more comfortable, but they are a lot more supportive and they have more adjustments. You will really like them a lot better when the roads get twisty! I would say that it would be a very wise purchase and worth the money to upgrade to the sport seats. I used to have a 350Z and its seats were almost too supportive for daily driving, so I was pleasantly surprised when I sat in the 330i's sport seats for the first time. They are the perfect blend of comfort and support.

I love my black leather sport seats....and with the CG-lock....they work perfect. I would not pay a premium for them though. Check the salvage yards.

What's the point of having an E46 without sports seats anyway?
OP get them. You'll never regret it

I'm looking for the leather sport seats, since I have cloth seats in my car. which let me feel that I'm not driving BMW.
