My buddy JRoss22 is haveing an issue with his door locking/unlocking

Ok so he use's his keys to unlock and lock his doors, his battery is dead in the fob, has been for awhile, so he manual does it, but it stoped locking when he puts his key in th door????? So what do you think is going on?????

Thanks Kyle. I think I figured it out just need to replace the lock cylinder going to take it all apart tomorrow to figure it out.

Search Door Lock Cylinder in the DIY forum there are a couple of write ups about this problem and there are two different problems that can occur either your door lock cylinder completely fails or a piece that breaks off the back of the mechanism that you have to replace. New cylinder is around $80 and its coded to your car.

easy diy, just need a lock cylinder. haz to be ordered from dealer because they come coded to your vehicle
