E34 + Hottie + Driving Skills = GREAT CAR CHASE

I remember when I first saw this I thought this was the greatest car chase ever.

I also could've sworn that the BMW was at least an E39; nevertheless it was from this moment on that I fell in love w/ BMW

Hollywood, it never happened. A friends wife who is also a member of the local Viper club chapter is incredable behind the wheel. Most guy who track only a few times a year cannot keep up with her.

What's sad about that scene from Ronin is that with the advent of CGI we probably won't see the likes of it again.

E34 M5 chase scene from the movie Ronan. Lots of car porn in that film.

Its an M5, when it rolls over at the end you can see the M-System Turbine wheels, and the M5 badge is visible at a few points.

French rubbish keeping up with an M5 in its prime, slightly optimistic.

The chases from Ronin are incredible. This one is the best.

If you look closely in some shots, the tach and speedometer are at 0. The car was being pulled along during filming. Whatever, still one of the top 5 chase scenes of all time.

BEST car chase ever filmed, or ever will be, is in "Bullitt." Great because of the slow buildup. Plus not so much of the ridiculous and excessive collatoral damage. Love my Beemer, but you can't do better than vintage Mustang vs. Charger when it comes to open-road chasing.

Also, remember about five years ago, those BMW-sponsered short takes with Clive Owens? No hottie driving, but a hottie or two riding. I have a CD with all of them, lots of fun to watch and re-watch.
