Always on buzzing sound

I have installed the piezzo buzzer as stated, but now I have soft buzzing sound always on , sound gets higher when alarm is activated.
I'm concerned about my battery, is soft buzzing sound always should be on or is these any way deactivate the soft buzzing always on sound and only activate sound when locking and unlocking the doors?

Help is appreciate it .Thanks

"Pinning"

For those of you wondering how to pin the wires in easily, I think I found a way.
Earlier today I tried this DIY but the wires wouldn't stay in the plug in the car so it just fell out.

To remedy this, I took apart an old USB plug and took out two of the pins and soldered them onto the end of the buzzer wires with a little extra length of wire.
Looks like this!

So will it always buzz even when the car is off? I just hooked one up and that is what's it's doing.

The buzzing is a result of the peizo you have. I had the same issue. I replaced it with another piezo and no longer have the issue.

I did my installation using standard Bell [single wire [red/white]] from the local hardware store - it's perfect fit .

I went from Buzzer to SIREN [TWO TONE siren 120db #273-0079 from the Shack] - usually any car alarms use Sirens and not Buzzers .... the buzzers are great for gates or smoke detectors lol.
For siome reason I did notice the Siren with less db was way louder than the buzzer listed with higher db .....
Try switching to SIREN to see if you like it better .....

Black goes to brown and red goes to the black with stripped. Twist the wire and insert

I tried this mod with a Piezo buzzer 86db and it works fine but it constantly buzzing quietly , would this problem be fixed if I was to buy a Piezo siren instead of a buzzer ? thank you!

I have tried both but I don't have the constant buzz with the siren that I had with the buzzer.

$5 Alternative for Lock beep

Hey guys,
First, I want to say thanks for this awesome and cheap mod!
I did the mod and everything works fine, however, the first time I did it, I hooked up the radioshack siren but didn't like the sound at all! Next I got this buzzer #273-0057 108db, it is actually a lot louder than the siren and it sounds better. Now that I hear it everyday, I am starting not to like it again. I was thinking of hooking up the actual horn of the car to the harness via relay but I wanted to know if anybody else has tried that? The horn sounds a lot better than the buzzer and its internals are not that different so it shouldn't be a problem.
