Doorless Cars! What will they think of next?

Car of the future via what looks like a 1980s infomercial.

there is nothing about those videos that say it was made after 1988.

the hairstyle, clothing, the idea of what rich people look like, even the cars look 1980s.

What about safety. I wonder if they are reliable in car crashes. Could their be a possibility of getting stuck in the car?

This prototype was on ebay a couple years ago. The trunk was full of all the pneumatics and stuff required to get it to work. Pretty hilarious.

No more door dings on the cars parked next to a car with these door, those cars will still ding your high tech doors!

How old are you to think this was made in the 80s? lol. This screams mid-90s to me, but whatever.

Sh*t...how old am I? Bah.

It is at least the mid 90's, I used to own a Lincoln Mark VIII. They were introduced in 1993 with what would become the 4.6L DOHC Mustang Cobra engine. I kind of miss that car. Was great on the highway.
