at least i back up whatever i said with links i told you this is fraud i showed you someone getting prosecuted for this over 40 shops and so how you know something they don't, i told you it wouldnt work and i told you why because of the missing pids you even agree and said it was gonna be solve in the future the fact is you are not the first to do this theres been people doing this for years and they got in trouble it takes a long time for you to know if they got you or not you may get a letter 2 years from now you may not but the fact is this doesnt work 100 percent because of the missing pids all they have to do is check your results and they got you is it likely? no but is not wroth the risk. whoever wants to do this could do it i just want to make then aware of the risk and consequences why does this bother you ? the problem with this is that your using a device to cheat the state is not a regular offense like clean scanning which means using another vehicle when you used a device it becomes something else you may think is nothing big but it is this is what im trying to explain to you but you just dont listen

I saw in the screen shot of the program that you can choose the protocols also i saw this on the website "Quick Overview This software driven OBD II Simulator is capable of supporting 10 of the most common PIDs including RPM and Vehicle Speed, as well as Readiness Monitors, VIN, CALID, and CVN. This unit supports both ISO 9141-2 and all 4 variants of the OBD II CAN protocol." ![]() , also on the pin out of the device i see that it has the rigth pin out to connect through a kwp2000 protocol ![]() now compare this is to the kwp2000 ![]() i believe the device will be able to connect to your car double k lines and will also be able to read the l line. The emission machine will be able to connect through the protocol no problem, i would advice to use a scanner ( a modis / launch x341) to see what monitors are avaliable, also do not forget the vin. it will also be a good idea to use a program like mitchell to find the sensor values at idle so that the inspection machine wont see anything out of the ordinary

I have ordered PCMScan so I can get the PID results and other data logging for future stuff. I am trying to buy a ISO cable that supports KWP. need to get this car through emissions (damn TCU)

sorry to ask this again...with the dme and tcu sharing the k line, does that mean if the tcu is reporting codes the dme saves the codes or do the scan tools (and emissions station) get the codes from the tcu
there is a thought that if i cut the k line on the tcu (going to the dme) or to the obd ii port then the tcu codes will not report??? anyone agree with this or know differently?
