Class got cancelled today so the detailing session planned for saturday got done today.
Wash, clay, polish here and there, wax. Thanks Mango for recommending Collinite 845. That stuff is so easy to apply. Going to apply the second coat tomorrow.
Interior, vacuumed and wiped.
Windows, exterior cleaned with 0000 steel wool, interior cleaned with windex.
Leather getting the nice treatment tomorrow.

Now only hoping, no birds have an urge to poo on my car and doesnt rain for a couple of days.

Tinted the windows because my car doesn't go in the garage and it's always sitting at school. Plus it's unbearably hot here.

Windshield: 50%
Front two windows: 20%
Rear 3 windows: 5%

Not a big fan of tinted windows but it's so much cooler inside the car. Plus I won't have to worry about my interior getting too weathered.

I have one of these:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It helps immensely. It's identical to the official BMW shade, but no logo.

I can't keep up with this thread lately. Water pump, radiator, sparkplugs, brakes, battery, glued puller fabrics back on, burned the tires off, turned the radio up, enjoyed the day, love my e46!

I know a sunshade for the windshield but I had no idea what to do for all my other windows

I just have to live with it for another year until we build the shop at my house.

Either way it's nice to have wouldn't you say? I'm getting 35% tint everywhere sometime this summer. My car gets beat on all day in the parking lot with zero shade.

I have one of those. Makes a HUGE difference! Lol I paid $8 bucks at Walmart though... No way I'd shell out $48+ for a over sized visor...

I just liked it b/c it was fitted to the car haha. $50 is worth it to me for something that gets used 8 hours every weekday.
