Sanded half of the car with 320 for priming. Also tried taking doors off for future need.
Also found out how to remove window anti-trap wire on rear doors.

That's funny! Are the letters WDE common on license plates in your state?

Are you painting half the car? I might re-paint one of the quarter panels.
What brand paint will you use?

Previous paint job is bad and is peeling in places. I was advised to sand with 320 and then spray sealer or epoxy primer. I managed to do only half of the car because it is nearly impossible to work on the car when it's so hot.
I'll use ppg premium paint is is like $500 per gallon I think.

Yes because WDE stands for War Damn Eagle and I live in Alabama. My coworker just got WDE + an available number I guess. I hope 46 isn't taken.

* What did you do to/for your E46 today? *

I started up my car today after 3 weeks. But I have yet to drive her in a month and a half. She's still sitting there right now

You might have trouble trying to use those. . They look a little high. I hope I'm wrong and they work perfectly for you. I built ramps using 2x6's cut at and angle and stacked.

I'm kind of wondering how this happens to cars. I mean, why can't you just get in it an drive it?

I've been traveling for the last few weeks. So I've been driving my 1 series around. And before that, I don't know. But she's coming out this weekend for a show. And then I'm doing a 6 speed swap, driveshaft, lightweight flywheel and a new clutch the following weekend in preparation for Bimmerfest

* What did you do to/for your E46 today? *

Giving her a good wash, also changing the engine mounts in my e30 to bimmerworld mounts, Delrin is too stiff for my taste (Live and learn) then taking her for a ride.

Thats what I did, minimal maintenance/mods until it was paid off, then lots of catch up and modifications. Congrats!

Finally, a bath! Also bi-annual cleaning/waxing behind the plate (renewal month in this case).

Damn those black headlights are sweet!

Marcus... Beautiful car man! Nice! I'm not feeling the hooks either... I mean... I like the look. Just not those. Maybe something beefier. Not the nylon ones.

I am mounting an Mtech II bumper today. I have already spent 4 hours in the yard sweating my ass off... So now I am in the garage sweating the rest off. Coming in for breaks every now and then.

Finished replacing the CCV, over 4 days, spending about 2 hrs per day, not including taking some time out to make a short video on checking the state of your DISA:

I'll add picks and my pointers to one of the specific threads, but what I will say is remove the DISA and ICV, it just makes accessing the throttle body and CCV a lot easier and you can clean out the ICV and check on the condition of the DISA.

Feels good to get that DIY done! Next up valve cover gasket, but I need to read up on DIYing the Vanos seals first.

Wow... I just got the bumper assembly off... That little old lady I hit (tapped actually) a few weeks back bent my aluminum bumper frame just a little bit on the driver's side! After 20 minutes stretching it back into shape with my shop vise and it fits like a glove!

I sure wish I had my foglights Umnitza!
