My hood has been seized shut for quite a while, tried getting it open myself multiple times, but failed, so I dropped it off at the shop earlier
Swear the mechanic snapped the hood release cable when I took it in to get the water pump replaced

Hah, good ole hood latches.

Helped a friend with this one... looked like I was humping the hood and he looked like he was jerkin off in the drivers' seat messing with the release latch.

DO NOT BAKE YOUR TURN SIGNALS.

I tried today, and failed. Seems as if they're molded together:

I wanted to color match the inside with TIAG, since the only available after-market corners seem to be clear (white) and black.

Actually just got it back from All Imports on Cavanaugh Rd in Lansing, off the Jolly Road exit on US 127
The springs and pins, and latch were hella rusted so they removed the rush, greased everything up real nice, and only charged me 50 bucks (nothing wrong with the cables or anything, thank God)

Time to get those smoked corners with money I saved ...any suggestions where to get em from, for those who have em? Running a prefacelift here haha

Brosive05, when did you move outta EL? I've been here all 22 years of my life and plan on being in the area a lot longer

What I did yesterday was both front control arm bushings! And complete set of brake pads! I just ordered $800.00 worth of parts! My car has never been so happy!

Lol, It seems like that happens every time I wash my car. I've just come to accept it as a given.

Either it rains, or:

The next day someone decides to use their windshield washer on the highway when I'm behind them.

I'm at a stop light and someone is trimming grass on the median and their mower sprays wet grass all over my car.

The next morning my entire neighborhood has their sprinklers going and I have to drive through wet streets to get out of my subdivision.

Some jack asz can't stay in his lane and drives into the emergency lane on the the highway and kicks up all sorts of dust, dirt, rocks and other debris while I'm behind them.

There are so many...

I adjusted my passenger washer-nozzle to be able to spray the a-hole that cuts me off then goes next to me to roll the window down to cuss and flip me off =]

but yes... the washers on the highway one, get's me every time.

Bought Turtle Wax Headlight Restoration kit ($8 at autozone). By far the best money spent. Worked like a charm. Lights look brand new.. Now for how long is the question.

Had the driver window lifter/mechanism replaced, also had the new mechanism "zip tied" before installing.

After reading frightening posts about DISA valve malfunctions, I went to the garage after work and removed DISA of my car.... And... it is fine! I can sleep well now, again...
