(dont make fun of my cheap ass radar detector)
is that rocky mountain radar? you know you can pick up a used escort for 100-150 that will perform thousands of time better than that? i'm surprised that thing has ever alerted to an officer....ever.

Glad to find this thread!

I just sold my beater/DD Mazda Protege5, and over on the P5 board they have a "What have you done to your P5 today?" thread. I always enjoyed checking it out daily and decided to search e46f today to see if there was one over here...

/OT

On Topic...

After nearly a year of being a "fish-bowl" my ZHP is getting tinted today! I can't wait! She had tint on her when I bought her over four years ago, the original owner (or dealership) must have put some cheap tint on her. About two years ago it started turning purple. I did the "trash-bag" method of pulling the tint off late last summer and have been waiting patiently to get her re-tinted.

Oh, and I decided I'm too damn old to be messing with cops and tint tickets, so I wussed out and just went with 35%. I have lots of pits and one star in the windshield. When thats star turns into a crack I'll have a new windshield tinted (lightly) and installed. That should help darken up the light 35%. In my younger years I would have done it 20% all around, but as I'm getting older I just don't want to mess with it...

Yesterday: Final Stage Unit. It's great have air back! Also registration sticker and new plates.
Today: I'll be changing out the headlamp lenses with new OEM Bosch lenses. Can't beat $28.50/ea at Pelican!
