Yeah I doubt I'll go that low. I just need to lower the front a half inch or so and I'll think I'll be satisfied. Click image for larger version

I would raise the front about 1/3rd to 1/2 inch and the car would look good

Raise...really? I know you like to do the opposite of everyone but I couldn't imagine someone raising a BMW. My XI sits wicked high.Click image for larger version

Also remember "lowering" is not just simply a setting or a preference. "lowering" is not like choosing ketchup or mustard on your burger. there's a lot of science that goes on when you start playing with angles--especially drastic ones.

see my sig? i want to raise my car slightly and get it realigned one day but i don't have coilovers so how i'm going to accomplish that will require some thinking on my part. maybe thicker spring pads or something. or maybe just get v2s or v3s.

i think yours looks supersweet and still driveable
whats the rims size,, if its 18's i would more go to 19's at same height;
it would finish it off,, and not bounce all the time

Gotcha. I wouldn't say slammed, but lowered yes. Camber plates are in the works need to re align the toe going on in the front.

19 would be too much to handle here in NY. I'm having trouble now as we speak. If I can get my hands on a good price for coilovers I may just go that route.

Yeah, I hear ya. Sorry for that lol, it's moderately dropped much lower than a stock xi but still I feel like there's room for more to pull off the wheels correctly.

It amazes me how high the stock height looks with 18's. I'd like to be his ride height but not so sure on lowering my car in Vermont.

Finished today: new alternator, ecs cooling overhaul, idler, tensioner, power steering pulleys, ofhg gasket, and new washer fluid pump since old one was leaking. I was nervous to finally start it up again but the maiden voyage went perfectly.

picked it up from the mechanic since the only guy who can program my car won't be back for another week.
Apparently need my immobilizer programmed and my oil separator valve replaced for starters.

Might tackle that oil separator valve myself Thursday or Friday. Gonna be fun!
