Edit: oh you mean wheel bearings. Yes I've been researching that. I need to make a trip there to view the brand. Is it the duralast ones that are *** or the Timken?
My Timkens were f.a.g.s. Just check the box.

* What did you do to/for your E46 today? *

I have the socket. I bought everything other than the bearings months ago.

So is the Timken a 100% rate of *** or Koyo? I'm going to pick them up soon if that's the case.

no guarantees. don't worry about what it says on the outside of the box. ask the autozone guy for all the wheel bearings he has and use your eyes to look. buy the one you want.

did you also buy dust caps, shields etc

Yes. I mean everything when I say everything haha.

My AZ will not have the Timken there probably. Do they make you commit to buy if they order from their distribution center?

They can order it from another store. My nearby store didnt have it so they ordered it from another store about 20 miles away. Yah, I was not going to drive 20 miles and back to get the bearing. Lazy.
But I had to pay before they ordered it.

You can always return it if you dont like it, right then and there.

You can check the availability on their website with your zip code.

I used her as a dump truck.

(After finding out how much the fees are to dump dirt in a landfill in CA - ridiculous - I am slowly dumping it in my dumpster at work at the rate of one Target plastic tote per day in my trunk.)

I think I need this former ZHP:

(apparently a user here at the forums? Source: http://bestscoops.blogspot.com/2010/...rom-brink.html)

^ looks good.
Always thought the roof bar with those 3 plastic plates at the bottom are for the front.

Edit: Now you need a bike rack(or whatever rack you need to use those bars) and a fairing. Be prepared to hear the wind noise above 40mph and may be around 2mpg decrement.
Currently hunting for an OE ski rack myself

Something about unused roof racks REALLY bothers me.

Eh why would I drive 20 miles when the dumpster is right here at work?

It's going a bin at a time either way...

theres canyons and mountains everywhere around here. not sure how i'd feel about throwing bags of dirt in the trash. that's kind of weird and seems it would take too long

Lol it is pretty weird. Seems like it would be in a satire depicting life in a city.

Ok wiseasses, what would you do? you have about 8 cubic yards of dirt, you've been quoted $300 to haul it away. You have a shovel and a plastic bin where you can transport about 2 cubic feet per trip.

Personally, I don't mind doing it slowly to save the $300.

Keep in mind in CA it's probably a class 1 felony to dump dirt somewhere without a soil study, environmental impact study, and the required permits in triplicate.
