Drove like 300 miles this weekend between Brooklyn and Upstate NY for a backpacking trip.

I kept looking at my temp needle since my cooling system is due to explode any day now as my car approaches 65,000 miles.

pullies and headers should make a huge difference... like 20 whp. Do you have O2 simulators on the post-cat O2 sensors? if not then it will run like crap...

agressive cams are worth about 17whp to some engines

WTF did I tell you yesterday? So, according to my calculations, Drew, you're on your honeymoon and are checking in on fanatics! So, is this something you're trying to figure out how to tell your wife?

Put her on the line...we'll explain it to her as a community and I'm sure she'll understand much better!

Threadjack: how to come out of 'fanatic's closet' with brand new wife? Go!

New clutch fitted.
On drive way ramps and axle stands. Done in less than 4 hours.
Now long bath back and arms killing. Getting to old for this!

Began changing brake pads and rotors. First time I've ever done something like this so it's definitely a learning process. I don't think the original rotors were ever changed out, the wheels and rotors were rusted onto the hub and were a PITA to get off.

I'll be so glad when this project is finished. It's been incredibly difficult because of the rust but I've cleaned them up real good and I'm going to feel pretty damn accomplished when it's over lol

My Ride: slower than yours
Found moisture in driver's side headlight, so removed it, cleaned the poopy out of it, learned that it snaps back in at the bottom (took me five minutes to figure out why there was a huge gap between bumper and headlight).. only to have it fog back up one hour later...

guess i have to go buy that 40 dollar gasket, what the fvck. whys it cost so much.

Not today, but yesterday I installed a USA-Spec PA12-BMW interface box for iPod/iPhone and satellite radio and it worked like a charm. Running the cable along the driver's side door jambs was really easy. Getting it to the passenger side once up front wasn't easy, though. Damn that thing is tight there behind the center console! Finally did find a route and installed the box behind the glove box.

Still need to figure out a good spot for the portable satellite radio, though...

BTW, should've spent the few bucks more already from the get go and not messed with the stupid Grom stuff.

DEEEEEEEEEbadged last night. Not sure if I am going to put my matte black Bimmian badges on or not.

Monday I installed 4500K fog bulbs.

Last weekend I painted the silver parts on my front bumper black.

Weekend before I got an oil change.

Weekend before I installed smoked Eagle Eye LEDs.

Next weekend I'm hoping to get my chrome window trim vinyl-wrapped matte black.

I love my car.
