The tools I used are NCS Expert and Progman/SSS; there are a lot of tutorials over at the diagnostic forums at bf.c on how to setup and use those pieces of software. If you know how to use the software, I could write up a guide, but otherwise there's just too much information to write. |

A friend in Nashville is picking up a front wheel for me today,
I might run up there for the 4th, or I might just wait for a friend that is going up there in early August to bring it back... I'm considering having the wheel "fixed" again and mounting a used but good tire on it for a full-sized spare. Damn you BMW for putting doughnuts in ZHP's! Or I may not "fix" it at all, vibration only comes on at 80+mph...

cleaned the rims and the undercarriage at the wheel and inner fender arch wells. Also attempted to clean off my shock strut tower that is covered in oily grime and road crust.
After I cleaned out the interior, sat in the backseat and turned the radio on and fell asleep.

yesterday - Ordered parrot/connects2 bluetooth setup
today - Inspected rear subframe for cracks/tears, didn't find any. Inspected rear brakes, look great. Inspected front brakes (come and go noise lately from passenger side), need replaced, ordered OEM-like Brembo disc's and EBC Red Pads. Cleaned the inside of the wheels while they were all off. Did all of this at work, thought I had some wax in my detail bag, but I don't. Couldn't find any, so unfortunately they didn't get waxed (the insides) Probably wouldn't have ordered the bluetooth setup yesterday if I had known I would find out I needed new front brakes today. The set that were on the car when I bought it (at 32,500 I would guess original) lasted until +/- 55,000 miles. I must drive more aggressive than the original owner as I'm only at 89,000 and they look like they are about toast. Heat spotting/streak on the passenger front is causing some noise and the pads are very thin. I expect to see the light in the dash come on any day now that I know how thin they are... tomorrow - Detail in and out, might start tonight...
