I wasn't aware of Tischer's sale, I priced the regular disc's through their website and then looked for aftermarket solutions. Had I known, I would have considered them. In my (very) small amount of research I found the benefits of drilled rotors is debatable. The car is just a daily driver for now so I went with an economical solution for the brakes ($224.88 for disc's and pads including tax and shipping, disc's were heavy).

Today i changed the oil

As i was tightening the filler cap.....it started POURING....HARD
so i closed the hood.....and just got it off of the stands while it was raining....lol

I used all OEM (the OEM oil was actually cheaper by .20 per quart than Mobile 1 0w 40)

How difficult was it to replace the VCG? Mine has been leaking for awhile now, I was waiting to get closer to 100k and go ahead and change the spark plugs while I'm in there. My vanos seals need rebuilt as well though, ugh, maintenance ***** of a car. Its so worth it though...

I vinyl wrapped the driver side exterior trim last night and LOVE it! I don't know why I wait this long to start this project. I've had the vinyl for two months now but didn't think I could do it by myself. The car looks so much better with color-matched trim. I went with the Avery brand and the color match is indistinguishable from the TiAg paint. A couple layers of Zaino and it should match the shine of the rest of the car. I'll finish up vinyl wrapping the passenger side tonight. This weekend I'll work on the front and rear bumper trim. Patience...

Should be receiving my Detailed Image order today too!

Ordered bunch of little treats. You know the usual things ... trunk lip spoiler, license plate frames, gauge rings, H&R springs, twinscrew supercharger ...
