Basically, but do your research first. Check your regional section for reputable shops. I take my car to a shop 25 miles from my house, and I'm sure there are people on here that go further.

I've done A LOT since I last posted in this thread... I put my AUX cable in on the DCS button thingie, she got a bath today, I hit 10k with her as MY car, ordered a crap-ton of parts for her... and cleaned her a bazillion times! Stoked for my box of goodies from ECS, should be here soon!

I have the cold weather package on my xi, and I was very much confused by the headlight washers. No one seemed to have any information on how to deal with these, other than "just pull it out real hard and have someone hold it". A visual would have been handy, but I figured it out. I'll have to do up a video for future reference.

I'm hoping to get a lip spoiler soon, as well. Cause, you know, I need that downward force. Because racecar.

Anyone know about the fitment of the lip spoilers on a regular i versus an xi? I've heard the trunk lids are different sizes.

did you try buffing out you old ones at all. I'm still debating whether or not it'll look good enough.

I tried one of those headlight restoring kits... It didn't help at all. I don't remember the brand name. I tried it twice, and each time it just made it hazy and worn looking. I made sure to buff it plenty.

I've heard of people sanding down the headlight covers, but I just dont have time for all of that. I'd rather just get new ones, you know?

replaced the battery because it left me stranded in the grocery store parking lot. Four days ago all four window regulators were changed. Rear two were about to fail (cracked pulley's) front two had frayed cable sheeths and clips were both broken.

This car keeps me on my toes.

did nothing to the E46 but took the E90 into the shop for a CEL and stall at idle. Ended up being some vanos valves closing as stated by bmw, replaced at no cost thanks to warranty.

Bought skinnier tires. Less rubbing but still happens. I feel it is rubbing on the circled part. What to do..

There should not be any scratches left. the proper way to debadge is with floss, which I am guessing you didnt use?
