I know, I have to finish my exterior first, my window trim is half chrome/black. Today I will paint it black (plasti-dip sucks) then I want to clay/polish/wax.

Changed out the rear shocks and spring pads. Finally got rid of that horrible clunking sound when I went over bumps!

I finally got around to reattaching my sagging door molding. I used black silicone (sparingly) and taped it in place to dry.

- Installed my new ebay trunk lip PERFECT fitment and color match, pics later for that
- Cleaned my trunk entirely, moved out unnecessary tools, threw out old rags, tied down my floor jack in a better spot
- Vacuumed my entire interior
- Just got my ECS package with oil and my license plate holder with new bolts (installing the holder in a few min)
- Spent about 5 hours peeling/sanding off the plasti-dip (CRAP) from my window trim

BOTH Fog lamps replaced with brand new ZKW.
Don't have time or patience to resurface the lenses. The OE ones are for sale in the classifieds section.

I have to find 4 bolts that are a bit longer :/ the OEM ones are too short, what a waste of money. Oh well.

My bracket looked like that when I bought the car. Since I have several other things to fix, my NJ owned plate got a nice little hole mod. I really need to just spend the $40 for a bracket but soooo many things in this car just keep snatching that $$ out of my hand!

Looks good, Jake. My only suggestion would be to re-align the left side of the lip spoiler. Seems to come towards the front of the car a bit.

Trunk lip looks pretty good Jake.

I removed and replaced fuel filter with new clamps, topped off all fluids (MT, Front/Rear Diffs, Xfer case), and checked tire pressure. Tomorrow will be expansion tank, water pump, thermostat & housing, upper and lower radiatior hoses, and coolant flush. Long day ahead

While I was topping off fluids I snapped a shot of this which I believe to be my CDV. Also does anyone know if I can rent a pressure bleeder from autozone? Can anyone confirm for me if this is the CDV?

Replaced my fuel pump and cleaned my seized throttle body, still need to replace the driver's side level sensor, re-seal my differential and replace the CAB. She's twelve years old and requires a lil TLC...

Completed coolant overhaul. Still grease on my hands as I type this
New waterpump w/ metal impeller, expansion tank, upper and lower radiator hoses and thermostat with housing. Refilled with 50/50 BMW coolant and distilled water. Hardest part by far was removing the coolant drain plug on the block. Apparently the XIs are ridiculously harder, I foundout why and was actually happy when I got showered with coolant. No problems though! Should be a worryfree cleveland winter.

Also took this picture a couple days ago when I did fuel filter. Can anyone confirm this is the CDV? Thanks
