Cleaned all the tar off the front wheels. Never knew all the different uses for WD-40 lmao. Also washed all my micro-fiber towels. Tomorrow I'll be removing all the wheels and cleaning the inside of them and painting the rotors and calipers.

When I say rotor I don't actually mean the surface, I mean the hub portion. Just to clarify.

You can be really sloppy with the hub portion, any excess will get burned off when you brake. What color did you choose?

It's amazing to me that a non M E46 is such a beautiful car but the E46 M has never done much for me.

Just going to keep it simple and go with black. For the calipers I'll be painting them silver, I switched over to ceramic pads so I think they'll be fine when it comes to the brake dust.

I ordered a bunch of suspension parts over the last few days.

My car will be very happy.
My wallet is very sad.

Replaced coolant system (Thanks Jason) hydraulic belt tensioner assembly, front crank seal. Just hit 83,500K miles. Started seeing wet spots on the garage floor. Figured I do it now or wait until she blows up on the 95 somewhere. Didn't flush power steering, I can still hear a slight growl, maybe next weekend. Big ups to Kpeng's maintenance guide and to the brothers at getbmwparts.com.

Washed it and put an M-Sport Steering Wheel in. So much nicer - and it's good to have leather that doesn't have a tear in the top!

Replaced the DISA valve, took about 10 minutes to swap out. Fixed the rough idle issue I was having. Running smooth as silk again! Thanks to the guys over at BMWpartssource.com! Big shout out. Great price, fast shipping. The car and I are both happy again.

Your username makes sense. That floating headphone jack has one hell of an erection.
