Car went into limp mode a couple of nights ago, SES light, EML light, DSC light, loss of power, typical symptoms. Scanned and received P1580 code (Throttle body valve stuck). So, I proceeded to take off parts to get to throttle body, cleaned everything, was real careful (I've replaced CCV valve so I did this work before), button everything back up. Put my air filter box back in, checked the air filter, found that a field mouse had made a nest in the box and bottom of filter was covered with thick insulation material. So, I'm thinking that my air filter was clogged and resulted in lack of air flow to throttle body. Was it that simple? Damn mice.

Changed out the exterior door moulding clips on both sides. They were brittle as hell and a few were broken.

replaced headlight control led's to blue ones, the steering wheel leds are next that why i took off the controls since the leds are different from those from the cluster and headlight control. but that will probably be next week... =) here are some pics.

kinda blurry because my camera had a hard time focusing.

bmw performance grills for facelift coupe/vert (51132158537 & 51132158538). paint should only be used on things you can't buy that way to begin with

they're both yellow actually. the reflector in the passenger one is messed up and dull, im getting a new one sent to me, will be done in a few days

and really dude, you're gonna question me for having one part wrong when you have a riced out dash and haven't even completely reinstalled your wheel? do you understand there is a reason for the orange lighting... BMW chose orange because it's a good compromise between red and yellow: red is best for not disturbing night vision, but red doesn't always illuminate things well. add a little yellow and it works perfect. Hell, i have the brightness on mine turned down most of the way. It might look cool for now but I'll bet you that bright ass LED blue is gonna get annoying soon and you're gonna regret it

also, to get that pic you just need to take it at dusk and turn your lights on so the dash lights up/hold your hand steady, don't blame it on the camera

you just bought your car recently right? why don't you work on preventative maintenance things first instead of wasting your money on stupid little mods that won't help when your coolant system fails any day now, your strut towers start mushrooming, your lower intake boot cracks or one of the many other issues there are with a 10 year old E46 (your odometer looks like it says 91k but i cant tell cause its blurry). I'm honestly just trying to help you so don't trip on my response

i just like my car to be different, aint nothing riced out about having blue on the dashboard... it actually looks pretty sick at night!, plus i will never have to worry about maintenance, i work at a shop so i get hooked up =) plus i bought this car from my boss so even better, it does have 91k miles, and currently ill say this car is in 90% good shape.! its not the best e46 but for being my first car i think its alot!.
