Strange, I've gotten more random compliments on my subtle 325i than when I had a blacked out MKV GTI. Especially out in Hollywood

Difference: Your car is red. They don't give a sh!t if it's a 325 or an m3. As long as it looks nice.

Although I think your car does look good w/ black rims, I'd think that OE colors would look the best. Are you changing out your front grille as well?

I don't know yet. I'm saving money for a new rear bumper and a facelift hood. I might just wait for that to go back to chrome kidneys.

Why did you get rid of your OE one? One of the reasons I didn't get a coupe was because of the kidneys.. I just can't get myself to like them.

outside temp read - 40 degrees. Looked under the bumper and the sensor was completely ripped off and wires hanging.

$49 sensor and wire kit fix. took about 10min or so. I love DIYs. Saving so much money

That has got to be annoying. Before I even knew anything about what an E46 BMW was I was using a girl friend's 330i for awhile that beeped every 2 seconds because of the outside temperature sensor.

I hated that thing.

Rosey's beeped. A lot. The same beep I get when my temp. reaches 37 or 32 degrees.

Her's was -140 degrees. I think sometimes it was 28 degrees. And that was in Ocean City in 100+ degree weather.

You know what, now that you mention it, mine will beep if it thinks it's really cold, like -40 or soemthing.

Installed new blets, tensioner, pulley and belts. Drained, flushed the radiator. OFHG completed with no major issues.....one small one...did have an extra long bolt when finished. ENded out being one for the alternator....installed then drove drove drove...
