On a more serious note, anyone remove their A-Pillar covers? The fabric on mine have come loose and needs to be re-glued. I tried to remove them when I installed my bluetooth kit (mic) and couldn't figure them out...

^I just took my A and C pillars off to flock them (unfortunately the tan didn't match as well as I had hoped, so I'll probably flock them black soon). Take a butter knife to pull the cover piece off the middle of the A-Pillar. It's just snapped into place. Use a T20 torx bit to unscrew the three screws to take the pillar off. The hardest part for me was pulling it off where the A-pillar cover slides into the dash. You have to pull up without pulling the pillar cover too far away from the pillar to get it out.

THANKS!

I was thinking there were probably screws behind that piece, but wasn't sure if by prying around those covers if the curtain bags would shoot out. I know, highly unlikely, but still. I pulled and pulled on the drivers side for awhile thinking just clips held them in, now I know. Mine wrinkled at the bottom first (a few years back) and the one side looks bad after I pulled and pulled on it for awhile...

I have a link to a DIY on my home computer, if you want to PM me I'll reply with that link later, I can't remember where it was exactly... I planned on doing this soon too haha. As far as the procedure goes though I think you pry off the middle piece first, then remove two 10mm torx screws, of course disconnecting the battery first because of the air bag.

Rewired my DIY AUX-in with an iPod dock connector to 3.5 mm audio plus USB plug (two-in-one!) & routed all of the cabling behind/beneath the center console; now I have a single connector to power & play my iPod/iPhone!

Re-glued the peeling part of my A pillar at the bottom, and took my door panel off AGAIN to use winshield silicone on the door clips to keep them from rattling. This coming weekend I think I'm gonna lower the car some more, may end up having to get shorter endlinks for the front, the hotchkis units are as short as they can go which limits my drop. Maybe get some pics of the new drop and CSLs

33 mpg?

My past few tanks have been lucky to get 21...

Thats nearly all city though, with A/C blasting and quite a bit of flogging...

Closing in on 91k, I think its time for a new fuel filter.

Put 'er in the air for a pre-roadtrip inspection of suspension, tires, & rear subframe, then checked the oil, wiper fluid, brake fluid, & lug bolts. Tomorrow morning will be a coolant, power steering fluid, & tire pressure check before hitting the 600-mi road home!
