Just a person. I'll probably get some photos of the 2 rollers and E46 together soonish.

ETA: Also would like to sell the Silver Spur. Two rollers is just too much for a non-oil baron.

I painted my headlight bowls satin black using Krylon indoor/outdoor paint. Surprised I didn't mess anything up. Came out looking amazing and accomplished what I wanted to do, make the front end look even more aggressive. Pictures coming tomorrow. Next up: M3 mirrors, M3 bumper and ST coilovers. These are the very last mods I have planned for the car.

She rested in the garage while the owner took pictures of its sun worn window seals and ordered parts.
Checked out JL Audio amps / speakers with Pioneer head unit.

Hit a bird with it at 70 mph. Nothing like a lower grill smashing bird-strike to start your morning. The gate-guard was laughing when I rolled up as it was still stuck in the grid. At least it was a little bird and not the raccoon that the 540 thumped a couple weeks ago. Never did find out what happened to that one fog light...

Used it to shuttle my junk to the storage unit all day yesterday. Today she's gonna get loaded to the gills and then I'll be setting sail for San Diego.

Pulled out the FSR,...

...cleaned the contacts with QD electronics cleaner, put it back in, and it's working again (for now). It was the original part, 2001 production code. Searching for best deal now. Surprisingly easy to remove and replace.
  • remove glovebox (4 screws)
  • disconnect wires to light and flashlight
  • remove glovebox attachment panel (5 screws)
  • pull out footwell duct
  • remove 2 torx screws holding flap actuator
  • disconnect actuator arm
  • fold duct out of way
  • depress tab holding FSR in place
  • pull out FSR
  • took about 15 minutes to remove, about 10 to reinstall

Haha thank god. I was like wtf is everything doing right there. These things are the greatest investments ever. I love mine. I need to figure it how I'm going to Hardwire it. All the DIY's are for cars with sunroofs. And my sunroof folds into the trunk.....
