Gave it a fast bath. Put in a new fuel filter, changed the rear diff fluid, tranny fluid, spark plugs, flushed the brake fluid and painted the caliber on my fiends M3. It was a pretty successful day.

New fluids arrived Friday (Trans and Coolant), picked up oil yesterday, also had a professional alignment done for crazy cheap (its good to know people!)...

Probably do the fluids (and replace my new aftermarket expansion tank that neither the old level sensor a or a new one works with, with an OEM expansion tank) Tuesday night or Wednesday night. Also need to spray some under-coating on the rear sides of the trunk where the tires rubbed it off after the drop. I beat on it with a rubber mallet some and haven't heard it rubbing anymore, hopefully she's clearing now and I won't have to go through the mess of measuring for spacers and buying new lugs...

Lol like the Volkswagen smell? I remember reading a thread about it. It's something too due with the glue under the carpets. Something like that. I don't have that smell in my BMW though.

Yupp! It only happens when my car gets really hot inside. I guess the one positive thing about living in Washington is that it is hot for about 1 month... so i wont have to worry about the smell too much. Good thing rolling down your windows will get fresh air in the car while driving ;-). I love to hear the car while driving, but the stock exhaust is too quiet for me when the windows are up. Any suggestions? Resonator delete? Muffler delete? Not looking to spend too much...

It's the sound deadening material below the back seat and I believe it's under the carpet in the trunk on top of the rear shocks.

Finally washed, waxed & vacuumed it. Also treated all the glass with Invisible Glass & treated the leather with Leatherique Rejuvenator Oil. Lastly, removed my faded BMW CCA license plate frame and replaced it with the original Rusnak plate frame.

Is that all it is? Just those two things?

The girls told me the car smelled like crayons when we were going to the club.

And yes, I'll put up a picture. Lol. Just have to get them off my camera.

I never noticed it, I assumed it was the leather this whole time. Rofl.

in my opinion it sounds awesome. its not as loud as what an aftermarket muffler would be but it is noticeable for sure.

My friend did the same thing on his 325. I really liked. No drone. It rumbles nice. It's pretty quiet compared to my M3 with agency power exhaust.

The only resonator delete. You have a muffler in the front and one in the rear, both which operate on completely different principles.
