As for my update. I am going to put the new fog light bulbs today. One of them is shot so I am digging through my parts bin to find a set of new fog light bulbs I bought from a forum member a long time ago .

Probably I will buy a set of jack stand and jack as well. I have to fix the front bumper that I yanked on the bumper stop in a parking lot a few weeks ago.
I have been avoiding to get jack stands because I don't have a garage and my apartment complex doesn't allow car work in the premise. But heck, its just a bumper and I am not going to do oil change, coolant flush or anything that is going to make a mess there.

May be do the RSMs too if I get too inspired. RTABs will have to wait for the tool though.
Just want to clarify that I ordered OEM Corteco/Lemforder for my bushings and NOT Meyle HD. I'll still post a review of course...

Not bashing Meyle HD. I'm actually curious about them too. but for once I wanted to try OEM bushings. They weren't that much more anyway

Placed my order on BMA Parts for my new Meyle HD control arms & bushings, Meyle HD RSMs, and Meyle RTABs. Tomorrow I'll be placing my order through BavAuto for my bilstein sport shocks & struts, strut tower reinforcement plates, and Z3 M rear shock reinforcement plates. Can't wait for my new suspension.

Sure, no problem. Your wisdom is really appreciated in this forum.
Looks like tock ordered the Meyle HDs. I will put a review on the M3 Meyle HD RTABs and RSMs once I install them.

Well as per topic, I was only able to install the fogs. Couldn't get the bumper adjusted.
But I bought pro lift jack and jack stands. The jack couldn't get under the car even with just sports suspension
So I still have to use the stupid factory jack to lift the car a little to get the jack under it.

I broke the red screw that holds the jack in the spare tire well, so I have to think of something to get that jack in place. Any ideas guys?

I just bought mine so:

Registration and SMOG. Full mechanical and functionality inspection revealing need of new steering bushings, belts, and tires/alignment ASAP. (so thats Wednesday.) Spendy but worth it.

Thanks, man. Umm as for the jack yeah even my harbor freight barely clears my jack pad but it still clears. Its low profile. $80. great buy!

Harbor Freight is my favorite place to buy tools/basically anything in the garage

Drove her around to pick up supplies and the SES came on. P0154, no activity in bank 2 O2 sensor?? I replaced both of those at 85k. Anyone think I may have just got a dud? They do have a lifetime warranty on them from autozone.

I was looking for ramps too, but jack stands are easier to store(not a lot of place to store in an apartment). Also I can't do any serious work in my apartment parking lot.
Best part is, I got the jack and jack stands for $25 total. Couldn't refuse to buy them. Hence, the purchase.

Staying on the topic:

I bought my car a maid/slave. Bought a 2000 mazda 626 for a daily driver yesterday so I can put avoid more miles on her. I drive almost 60 miles a day and premium gas plus getting around 20mpg was not helping. And I really hate taking my e46 to do grocery or somewhere nearby.

So, my e46 is going to get some much needed rest. The mazda is going to be tossed around a lot now and come winter the mazda will be sold. Possibly an e92 on the way if things work right or a new 4 banger for a daily driver purpose.

Turned it over to my girlfriend for a few days. It's her car anyway, actually. She doesn't thrash it like I do.

Dropped her off the other day due to an over heating problem again. Turns out that they can't replicate the overheating and they think it was a misreading! Yay, nothing needs to be fixed in prep to sale... in the meantime, on my way home from work yesterday a beautiful IR E46 M3 is parked in a lot for sale that I pass every day. Checking it out in an hour or so... too excited right now haha
