Parts store said large o-ring and washer were in both kits he had. I will definitely check out Mann filters. I am confused because there are two smaller o-rings on the cap stem. Do these need to be replaced at every oil change?

So, I thought about air tools. Other suggestions?
Leverage will still work. Turn the wheel to the left/right depending on what side your working. Boom! Room to fit a wrench with a pipe on it.

I changed the Vanos Filter and O rings, changed my license plate frame to a CF one, now my car is only black and blue, no silver, also put on a new drivers side mirror, as I cracked the other one while mounting it back on the CF mirrors.

Anyone know a good source for the OEM license plate mount for the trunk lid? The PO seems to have attached his plate with huge bolts and just forced them in, so the wholes are destroyed and my plate is hanging on by two bolts. Dealer wanted 40$ for that part!

Now proceed to smash them with a hammer so you can get stock clears.

you should also black out all of your chrome trim (including front grills).....go for the complete murdered look......

don't forget to get your tail pipes painted black as well....then everything will match your tinted tails and corner lights....a more complete look...

ALL black looks good and different. But license plate kind of steals the show being white. I would suggest painting it black, but that would be illegal,so the next best thing is to get the real dark smoke colored plastic covers that will make it appear to be black. You can even apply some dark stain on the inside of the plastic covers to make them just a little more black. The front window can also be tinted black, but since the police do not like that, you may want to limit that to about 10% with a 5% porthole immediately in front of the driver.

As I pulled in to the Shell Station I heard a pop in the foot well.....Damn it, I snapped my Hardware Store clutch return spring replacement which only had about 500 miles on it.

Fortunately I remembered, having a spare in the trunk, but its the same style spring that snapped,so I will need to order the BMW part Monday.
