Definently not $1000 at a shop. Id say, no more then $400 at a shop.

If you can find a shop that will do it for $400, then they have clearly never worked on a BMW starter before. It's a big project

completely different bro the 323 convertible was heavier than a freaking truck and because of that it wasted mad gas i was getting like 17/24 mpg driving normally // this one is as light as a feather and way faster and is great on gas when you drive it normally about 19/30 mpg driving it normally but we all know that it is a whole different story when you punch it

Cleaning out my glove box today and realized my car does have the slot for the rechargeable flash light anyone know a good place to get one that's not crazy expensive? And does anyway know if the OEM first aid kit would work in an 01 sedan?

Ok, so the HCV is normally open at all times.. Didn't know that. Mine isn't getting the signal or power to close, which is why I'm not getting cold air with the AC on.

Anyone know why?
Fault code? HVAC controller?

Searching didn't bring any help..

Buy one on eBay, and convert it to LED. This isn't the cheapest route.. But it's the most 'OE' route that will give you a bright enough light.

First aid bins should all be interchangeable.. You just need the brackets if your car does not already have them.

Thank you sir. Are all the lights the same or did the connectors change over the years?
Question guys, whenever you use the heat in my car the low coolant light comes on and then goes off when you shut off the heat, then comes on the next morning for a few mins.... Wtf? Haha

Tried it, totally worked. My 1 hour brake job turned into a 3 hour job though. Two of the four bolts were frozen and one of those two had a deformed head. Had to use a file to re-shape it so my socket would fit over it.

But, job's done. Now heading off to the parts store for a new air filter, cabin air filter, spark plugs and some cleaner so I can clean my idle control valve when I pull it tomorrow.

NP. The lights are all the same IIRC. I gutted mine and put in a small cordless house phone battery/LED.

Your coolant system either has some air in the system(heater core), or it's just a bit low. Mine did this thanks to a leak in a heater hose. Your engine pushes coolant up into the heater core, which draws out coolant from your expansion tank. Not a big scary fix, but I'd check for wet hoses anyway.

Installed led interior lights from khoalty and was pleasantly surprised by their quality given their price compared to some of the other kits out there. They look great as well. Also ordered stett intake boots to get rid of my vacuum leak forever.

Autocon was way too hot. I left after 30 minutes. Couldn't stand the heat.
