Replaced my electric engine cooling fan with a new Bosch Fan.
The old one had at least 150k before it started wobbling, and clicking yesterday

Finally got window regulators fixed. I feel I got robbed after paying $300 for one door 2weeks ago and only $80 for 2 doors this time!

Alrighty, it took about four hours taking my sweet time to do the seals. I know second time around it will be sub-three hours.
Here is what I notice already after 5 miles driving around my neighborhood. - Quieter start-up (deepness in the exhaust went down a bit) - Idle on first start was holding 1,000 rpm for thirty seconds then held a nice smooth idle at 700 rpm - When braking, the rpm was staying low - When in park, revving up a bit and letting go of the gas, the needle did not jump back up. It dropped quick, and slowly went to idle. Not a sharp drop with a bounce back off the 500 rpm mark - On my way back home and the car being warmed up fully I gave it some decent amount of gas. The rpm went to 4000 rpm very quickly with zero lag, super smoothness and less resistance. - The pistons with the old seals were floating around so much in the vanos unit. With the beisan systems they were in there firm with zero play I HIGHLY suggest that you all do your seals if you have not. Shipping was extremely quick for an incredible product. Few quick tips is to have a lot of towels ready, you will be basically have oil covered hands the entire time. Buy new vanos bolts, all gaskets, everything that was mention on the site for the job. The vanos unit will be packed with oil, so once you have it covered in a bag to put it down try to have maybe a cooking tray that's 2" deep to put the vanos in so all of the oil can get off. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

There was nothing scary about that now was there. I kinda thought the same thing before doing mine, but I actually had fun with it.

Yup!
I was really surprised that only 5 miles in the revs were a lot easier and spunkier. I will reset my adaptations with PA Soft tomorrow and I have to order a new air filter as well.

In the past week, I installed a Dynavin d90, 4 alpine s type speakers with new alpine amp, 12" MTX subs. Love the outcome.

Same here, but I ended up getting Michelin PSII's instead. How many miles did you get out of your set? My fronts have plenty of tread, but my rears are at their wear bars w/ a little over 9,000 miles.

I bought a kayak hoist and adjusted the straps to fit the hardtop. The kayak hoist can hold up to 120 lbs and is a pretty nice set up. I got the kayak hoist from Bass Pro Shop because it had 5 star reviews. I'm happy so far and the top is secured! If you guys want more pics, then I can take some additional pics. David |

So I would have to buy the O-rings and the anti-rattle kit separately instead of in a package?

I didn't do the rattle kit, just the seals but yes they are separate.
