Found out Advance Auto Parts not carries the Mann filters for our cars. Picked up one for an oil change tomorrow--assuming I can get the other strut replaced today.

After driving a new love interest's SUV with a back-up camera, I've decided its time to add one to my e46. It's always had OEM nav, I'm not sure why I haven't done it yet...

EDIT: After 45 minutes of searching, I remembered why I haven't done it yet, the TV module is too expensive and that tv-nav company went out of business... I guess I'll have to wait until after I get a Dynavin...

EDIT II: And after two more hours comparing the Dynavin to the Enco unit, and reading a TON of threads, I have decided to *drum roll* wait, too many people with too many problems. Surely the next generation of both units will see a major improvement. Until then, I'll just wait...

Cosmetic

Today I washed, waxed and thoroughly detailed my little e46!!

I also ordered new side markers with white LED lights, new clear w/silver trim corner lights, new headlight lens replacements and new DEPO taillights.

Next weekend, I'm going to install!!

Wondering why or how this car is acting so great tonight..

65 to 130 in under 10 seconds, incredible throttle response even with the AC on.

216K and I need vanos seals... I don't understand it.

You joking about the 65-130 under 10 seconds? Sarcasm maybe?

Decided on spacers for my wheels, since wheels are too far away for now. New mtechII should be installed this upcoming weekend

The spacers im looking to buy should come with bolts as well, 25mm should be enough for a 17x8 wheel correct?

haha, interesting that I was talking about the dynavin/dynavin clone just a few posts up from you...

Too many bugs?

I want to upgrade my OEM nav pretty bad, the screen is starting to have some pixel issues, my old old old DICE unit has too much engine noise (probably just needs a GLI) and I really want a back-up camera as I back into my side of the garage everyday/night. Just to be sure there isn't anything back there should I forget I put something there or someone else decides to put something there. But all of that said, I wasted a good few hours reading about the Dynavin/Dynavin Clone units and I just don't have time to mess with all of those bugs... Hopefully a new generation will be out soon that is more reliable...

Not so much. Its good for what it is, it has its issues just like anything. Nothing out there is gonna be perfect. The MediaBridge has everything I'll need. I just wasn't utilizing all the features and I wanted to get the stock look back.

Drove her like she likes at an autox. Also had some crazy drift action in the wet. Fun day for me and my silver stallion
