Well, considering there's all kinds of wiring to short out if water gets inside... I did it once to my accord and had to replace the distributor cap.
Did you have any issues? |

Did an oil change
I need to remember to not purchase my oil/ oil filter from the dealership ![]() Also found my next project. While inspecting the engine to make sure everything was running smoothly I noticed a suction sound coming from the drivers side of the engine bay. I'm thinking a hose is cracked |

New pass. axle, new diff seal, new diff fluid, passed safety and emissions with flying colors. My clothes are incredibly stained and my hair needs like 3 washings, but that's what axles do.

shopping help
Hello E46Fanatics. This is my first post and I need help. I am shopping for my first BMW and have found a 2000 328ci that is in excellent shape with under 50k miles. It's just what I would like to drive but reading some of your threads in regards to frame separation problems is scaring me. You love your cars...I love the car (and I don't even own one yet) but would it be better to buy another model (sacrilege?!)??? The class action suit warranty has apparently expired. What do you think? Many thanks in advance!

Do '01's and newer not have the problem or is the 330ci that much better?

Replace one rtab and limiter assy. I need the tool to do the other one. Don't ever try this without a tool. Getting the bushing out was easy. Putting it back in was a different story. I've been reading the threads on it recently, but didn't get the tool anyway. What an idiot.
sent from my ATARI sc1224

Find a coin-op carwash that has low pressure with the trigger out, and full pressure when trigger is pushed. And pay close attention when you are at full pressure, as to not exacerbate any dried out vacuum hoses, and to avoid electrics. No distributor cap to worry about here.
