CDV- Clutch Delay Valve
It is a very restrictive valve for the flow of hydraulic fluid to and from the clutch. You release the clutch and it delays the fluid that actually releases the clutch lever.
It felt like you were pushing against some type of resistance when you depressed the clutch pedal. When you released the pedal, there was a delay in the clutch engagement.
I have been driving a manual transmission for quite a few years and I was having trouble with the BMW clutch.
Not any more! You can purchase a replacement valve from Zeckhausen Racing @ zeckhausen.com.

Got an oil change this morning. In the afternoon I cleaned up the area under the ebrake/armrest and completely took all of that crap out. I was going to swap my left stalk but I couldn't get the airbag out.

Finally, I cleaned all of the leaked oil under the engine and killed off the bottle of brake parts cleaner to make my splash shield looking like new after it looked like a pool of oil and crud.... now my left of my back hurts like HELL after laying down on concrete for 30 min.

I put in half a bottle of windshield washer fluid in the M and then it pissed it out all over the pavement underneath it after a few hours.

I measured the dimensions of my trunk for a sub box, got the driverside window to roll up a little bit more (fixing my reg this weekend) and bought some brake pads.

I have the same car (color, everything). I need to get that lip. Where did you get it? I assume it wasn't very difficult to put on as you did it before going into work.
