They're a genuine BMW part. I have the part number somewhere. You can purchase them from any place like Tischer or BMWmercedes parts etc. I was gonna buy a set for my e46 but I decided to just save money and replace my one bad mirror.

those nuts (not bolts) take about 5min max each side to do. what were you doing? lol

you want to talk about hard bolts, try subframe bolts or reinforcement plate bolts (properly torqued)!!

drove it!!

loaned the M3 to my dad for the weekend so I could take his Ford Explorer to move some furniture...getting back in the Bimmer felt excellent

my 35mi commute was less fun this morning...FYI, Explorers don't have "Sport" buttons

Well, I had my 22mm combination wrench that would only swing 25 degrees or so per turn on the drivers side and maybe 45 on the passenger. I could have taken the swaybar off, but my 13mm socket wasn't deep enough and I didn't have a 13mm wrench. Should have spent 20 bucks on a ratcheting 22mm wrench. Severe forearm burn all around haha. 30 mins is an exaggeration but it sure felt like it.

Created my repair and parts purchase log book and coinciding spreadsheet, ordered a replacement gas cap, and scheduled up a little tech time to code chase for tomorrow after I get the new cap. I shouldn't have looked at the total...Closing in on the most expensive 99 328i...lol

Today i smashed out the piece that you use for the golf tee mod because i found out that its been rusted shut the whole time for a year.... and took out my spare tire which i found out was 47.8lbs O_O!!
