Thank you sir. Call me Eric!

These images were shot at f/1.4, with my beloved 85/1.4. Can't ever go wrong with it, especially on full frame! Love your work with the 5D2 as well.

Wow. Jealous. Mark I or II? (not that it matters, both are godly) No wonder it's so sharp yet so dreamy. (aside from the fact it still takes a good operator to use it!) so excellent at 1/4.

thanks man. i havent used it much since i got it.. i should play around more. i'm debating selling my 135 f/2. it's SUPERB in every respect but i don't find myself using it much.

I've actually got a Nikon D700! I love it to bits, and even though Canon's 5D2 tempts me with it's amazing resolution (and Canon's beautiful red channels), as well as the fact that the 5D3's release is dropping the price a bit.. There's something about the D700 that just feels right in my hands.

If it's not getting much use, then I don't blame you for debating whether or not to sell the 135L. It is a truly wonderful piece of machinery, though. Maybe sell it and look into a 50L or even an 85L (or the budget-minded 85/1.8).. The shorter focal lengths are definitely much easier to work with.

Doh! I just noticed that. you said 1.4 and I know canon doesn't make an 85 1.4. Nikon does! I just assumed you shot canon. The Nikon 85 1.4 is great as well. D700 would be my camera of choice if i shot nikon. No nonsense full frame. Yeah i've had two 85 1.8s. also great. thats what i'd get again if i sold the 135. or a 100mm f/2 (identical to the 85 1.8 in almost every way) just longer and a tad slower.

Just completed my first wheel resurfacing/painting DIY on a set of wheels I got that were scored pretty bad. Got a great deal on them and decided to paint them a glossy white to see how they would look as beaters for the M.

Still needs a little tweaking, but the fit is great! Damn good for $15 including labor!

Nice work. Willing to do the same, but what am I going to do with the holes in the bumper. PO drilled them to put the plate frame
And no, I need to have my front plates, already got ticketed for not having one.

i don't get it. is this some sort of joke? you paid someone $15 to someone to attach license plate onto the bumper? or you talking about the headlight bowls painted yellow?

^ its a mount that he made on his own, check back a page or two...

Its connected to his tow-hook, not the bumper...

Made a parts list for my cooling system overhaul, and went to Bavarian to place it.

Gave away my old CSL bumper to another fanatic.

Went and checked out a ZHP for a fanatic who lives in Florida.

It's a liscence plate mount I fabbed up last night.

With materials, cutting, and welding... My labor/material cost of the project didn't go above $15. No way I'm buying one for $50+ that sticks out 4".

My first e46 had the plate in the center.. I thought it looked like a beaver. Lmao!

My second e46 had the plate delete strip since it was from Georgia. No front plate(?). How it made it 1500 miles with a blown engine I ...

My variant uses the tow hook mount, just doesn't use a custom made bolt. If I were to make more then one, I could knock the cost down to $8-10 bucks for materials and labor.

I got in it and made race car noises. Not even kidding.

Then I looked at what all still needs doing, got out, and did something else.

Started to re-upholster the A pillars... couldn't find decent suede at the local fabric store so I decided to experiment with this suit like fabric. I like it so far.

Broke the clips on the little trim for the A pillar... need to find a new one
