One of the valve cover bots didn't have a washer around it between the grommet. I'll see if that's it

Lord knows my car needs it.. If I didn't have matters to deal with tonight after work I'd do it, but alas... oh well, off tomorrow! I'll be doing the touch-up on jet black.

There shouldn't be an issue with putting everything back together.

There's so much foam backing on those carpets, deformation seems almost impossible.

Received and installed my new interior trim and shift knob from eBay. I thought it was silver but it turns out it's actually a champagne-like color. I've never seen it before and it actually looks really nice

I just replaced my heater hose.
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...00&hg=11&fg=35
hose #5 on this diagram. It had a pin hole in it. It was a really easy job.

I would check all your hoses and connections.

but anyhoo, that is what I did today.

and the day before, I replaced my front right turn signal and my back left turn signal.

finished with my CF sunroof delete! pretty happy with everything. the kit is nice, very little improvisation needed. if youre thinking of doing this, you can tackle it.. it wasnt hard at all. the silicone was kind of a B but i figured it out. now what to do with this stupid sunroof

I keep seeing these projects which include the word "DELETE"... what exactly does that mean? does that mean you got rid of your sunroof and replaced it with... what? a panel of sorts? I would like to see a pic of your actual car with the mod installed.

do not like sunroof delete. i guess if track rat it's ok. but i like my sunroof. this would be even less appealing if car was color other than black. unless you painted it...

Sorry.. im in the middle of a coolant refresh and im waiting for some parts to arrive so i cant drive the car out to take pics. I just did the sunroof delete in the meantime.

And yes.. delete means you just took something out in this case i deleted my 40lb sunroof and replaced it with a 4lb piece of carbon fiber. Some guy is selling them on ebay its not hard to find

I hate having my sunroof, I wish my car had factory sunroof delete. I agree with you on it not looking good on a light colored car. I wonder how it would look with sunroof delete and a matte or cf roof wrap over the entire thing?
