Changed my intake cam sensor using the DIYs posted here. Went well other than it is quite cramped in there. It also sucked when I dropped the allen wrench into the abyss they call the engine bay. Here's a tip: get a long piece of tape and stick in on the end of the wrench and roll the rest into a string leaving a bit at the end to stick to your wrist.

Also put electrical tape around the rim of my AFE intake and where the two metal clips from the MAF attach to the intake. I kept having a chirping sound when closing my door, hitting bumps and being stopped at a light. Now the sound is gone.

All I'm waiting for is my EMP water pump then it's time to DIY.
Dude I get 298-305...changing fuel filter should give me as much as you're getting?

Changed the headlight lenses with some from Khoalty... it is such a great change for ~$70. BTW the 02-05 sedan lenses are DJ Auto, which have held up well on my E39. On Khoalty it just says that they aren't Bosch like the rest. Also, they fit my ZKW lights perfectly so please don't spend, what, like $100+ per side to get "ZKW" replacement lenses from other places.

As J block said, it depends how you drive. I drive highway only going to work and coming back it's pretty much the conduit where I'm doing 50 constant. When I did my filter it did go up a bit and the gas that came out of it was BLACK.

Change it regardless

Cleaned MAF and dropped in a KN air filter. Car got louder and gas mileage improved.

Attempted to remove the fuel filter. **** this thing. My hoses are totally fused to the old one. How the **** am I supposed to get this ****ing thing out. Also who the **** designed these hose clamps? Is it too much to as for standard 6mm/0.25in nuts on them? Now I'll have to buy new hoses and wait for them to come in. Why does everything have to be so ****ing hard to removed. I'm getting ****ing tired of it.

Only one good thing happened today and that is I verified that I have a GM tranny.

Also this is a ****ing joke. I mean really? $58??? who the **** would buy that? OH MAN SALE PRICE $52 WHAT A STEAL
