If you're looking for a performance all season, I cannot recommend the Continental ExtremeContact DWS enough!!! I used them in all conditions from snow, ice, rain, hot summer days even an autocross in mid August. For the price, they're great.

It was exactly that. Only the inside shoulder as well. Sadly they handled the weather here amazingly well, though for the price over the Conti DWS I'm really having a hard time deciding between the PS+ again or the Conti since some people report the Conti doesn't handle quite as responsively when it lets go on ice. My local Discount Tire also said they sell a lot of Yokohama YK580s on E46s, but I'm pretty wary of those.

What I do know is these Potenzas combined with the melting snow and the horrible sandcrete interstate had my xi letting go on any puddle deep enough to perceive. It's terrifying.

They handled pretty well - the OEM Dunlop summers and the PS2s all handle the rain and dry a little bit better, but for an all season they were excellent. Luckily I don't have to deal with more than an inch of snow and a couple mornings of ice per year so I can get away with summer tires :p

But ya that tread issue was freaking me out.

Dude that is not cool. Definitely a manufacturing defect.

Mine were close enough to the wear bars that I got rid of them for the PS2s. They got pretty noisy after the tread did that.

Oh man I got that beat. Stay tuned for a solid 2.5"x4-5" rectangle of tread explosion.

ETA: Here we go.

Your tires look like they're a bit more worn in general than mine were. That's gnarly though :/

They definitely are. The tread started coming off completely around the edge, then that wore flat. Now the centerish is starting to lift in some areas. :/

Buy these instead if you want an all season.

I think I'm gonna get a summer tire. Down here in the south, we hardly see snow or ice. Even a snow tire won't do anything on ice anyway. I just wanted to be sure this only applied to the PilotSport A/S. I think I'm gonna get regular Pilot Sports in the next year or so.

As far as I know it's only the A/S. My PS2s are new so I can't speak from experience on them.

Yes, go with the brakes first.

You don't need rotors like that. Go for a more affordable set up.

I'm looking at 220 shipped they have cheaper rotors available i.e centric premium rotors both front and rear for 229 shipped the rotors are a little cheaper but because they are in a different warehouse it takes longer to get to you therefore the 9$ more on shipping

220$ everything shipped everything rotors and pads

229$ everything shipped as well
