I'm kinda pissed about that one even though I knew it was inevitable. Anyway, the PO's mechanic is a ****ing retard. I also found a new power steering hose dated 4/2012 which explains the incorrect fluid in the system. They obviously had a leak, got a new hose put in and used PS fluid even though it says ATF ON THE ****ING CAP!
Lol don't you hate that.

For $12.95 I highly doubt that. What brand are they?

Not a completely ridiculous question. Most newer BMWs *do* need the vehicle coded whenever a new battery is installed.

Well shame on me then. That's absurd though.

I'm curious as to how this is possible. I'm definitely sure I would not trust my life to $13 cross drilled rotors. Cross drills are a negative in my book, especially for street use.

Never had problems with drilled, slotted, or vented rotors on a street car. They tend to be a little louder but thats all

Its possible because im good at finding deals and plan ahead. I just came up lucky that my brake wear light came on

The boxes are just a little dinged up thats all. They retail at about $100 a rotor. dont see what your problem is

Just bought the car and figured it needed pads and rotors anyway

I don't have a problem. I thought you legitimately bought $13 rotors, but you really got nice rotors for $13...
