did you ever post pics of the wheel? before and after? man i still need to find one. one day you'll swap the tranny. you'll be facing some decent downtime though. 2nd car!

Your car

I must agree. You aren't going to notice your car fade into having shitty shocks anyway. It happens too progressively. You don't get in your car one day and think "wow my shocks just blew". You will only know exactly how bad they were after you replace them .

I have some decent photos of before but I haven't shot any interior photos recently. I'll have to do it. My M3 wheel isn't perfect, but it's got just enough wear to match the rest of my interior which I am damn proud of at 132k:



And damn right about the transmission! Once I pick up a beater e30 it will only be a matter of time

I really want to pick up a beater Miata for my spare car and swap my 330Ci to a manual when the auto starts getting older. Then I will turn the miata into an autocross machine.

Pulled the rear seat out to prepare for my new one. Question, is it ok to take out all of that material behind the seat back with the BMW logo on it? That's where the crayon smell is coming from in my car.

lol at this. How have you concluded your shocks are "heavily degraded" by 30k miles? Have you ever seen a car with actual blown shocks? The car doesn't have to be hopping, but if my shocks were completely blown it would be. I'd be able to push on a fender and have it bounce. By all means though, continue to blow your cash on stuff you don't need, doesn't bother me at all
