Bought a $9 Turtle Wax Headlight Restoration kit and restored the fog light lens and reflector. Wow!!!! What a difference.

Replaced the gas cap and installed Bimmian Xenon interior bulbs on the xi.

Wait 90 days, the haze will return. You can continue to "restore" headlights about every 3 months, or just replace them and keep them waxed... All of mine (except for my 10 year old headlights) are about 7 years old, all I do is wax them when I was the car, no hazing, no oxidation...

Finished door mod to accept kicker 6.5 subs. PITA, but worth the 2 days.

The hinges aren't free moving, they are held in place with bolts. Very very tight bolts.

WARNING - I used 600 to start my last headlight tonight and that was to aggressive. The kit comes with four sanding pads and I supplemented that with 1200 and 2000 grit wet sand paper.

On my headlights, I wet sanded 1200 horizontal, then 2000 vertical, then pad #1 horizontal, pad #2 vertical, pad#3 horizontal and finally pad #4 buffed in a circular pattern.

My headlight lens didn't have a much of any oxidation, but were just a little ruff and pitted. That's why I did the 1,200 and 2,000 grit to start with. I wish I had done it on my fog lamps.

Installed some Meyle control arm bushings.

Do you know how much torsional force there is? You should get that welded if you want it to be rigid.

new idler/deflection pulley from Autozone. About $42. 122k miles on the original one. Not bad at all...

Finally doing a wheel alignment and getting exhaust welded.

You need to apply a sealant. The polishing kits remove the coating from the headlight, or it was already worn off anyway. Apply the sealant every 6 months or so. If you use wax, then it needs to be more often.
