Removed and inspected my DISA today, all was well. That was the good part, I also replaced my lower intake boot, what an absolute PITA. Probably the sh****st job I have done on my e46 to date. Those godamn hose clamps.

Oil filter housing gasket and replaced the serpentine belt and AC belt. Was pretty easy, and was a good chance to clean up the engine a bit.

You can't really tell by the color of the fuel dripping out. That fuel has left the sediments inside the filter. Cut it open and see how black it is. Of course we don't know the original color.

Has anyone even thought of that?

BTW, the pictures in that thread don't work anymore anyway.

Cleaned Air injection valve, cleaned spark plugs, checked my disa, cleaned ICV and found out my CCV was leaking oil. So next project is to put a new ccv on.

Got the car detailed, but it's been rainy and poured on the way home oh well, at least they got rid of my bad water spots.

Swapped entire cooling system except radiator without ever referring to DIY thread. Used tap water. It will all work great? Bet.

Tap water?

That stuff is bad news, and you know this.

It's not some myth that was created here on e46f.

Certain regions tap water will have less minerals than others, but those minerals at higher concentrations are harmful to the aluminum, and plastics.
I lived in Phoenix AZ and the water there straight from the tap isn't suitable to use to brush your teeth.

Hope it all works out as you have planned.

replaced stock speakers with Polk Audios and added a Separate JVC amp to run them.
don't have pic's of the speakers as they were professionally installed
will upload a pic of the temp Amp install until i get a custom sub box made to mount it too.
