Nope, guess again!

Car was not warm! It was 11 degrees out, Fahrenheit (for those of you using the wrong temp.)

Guess again!

explained to my son for the umteenth time that it is more important to address the o2 sensor adaptation limit, catalytic converter, DISA and themostat error codes than installing horrific neon lights on under side of his 330Ci. It may break down on the side of the road but it will suuurrree look fancy.

Erm, if it isn't the exp tank, either belt, or any of the pulley's... I'm uncertain. What else can cause a squeal and then pop?

Did you explain he owns a BMW and we don't do that. To each their own, but ground effects are illegal where Im from. Make sure to tell him no 8000k blue headlights that blind me.

I'm also not a parent, so I have no clue about your situation only my insights into what my dad told me and I neglected him, he pleaded with me to put the money in the bank, well I sure wish I had that money now!

Theres only one way to get me to stop wasting their money and that was for me to waste my money (I transitioned from dependent to independent during the life of my last car.) I wasted thousands on my last car only to never get any of it back (headlights, taillights, interior leds, cai). Sure I had fun and it looked good well let me tell you "99% of the people on the road dont give .02 about how your car looks.

For me, it was all about learning to balance my budget, hows a dependent ever going to learn that? When you start doing your own finances you learn whats feasable.

I think people should worry about maintenance FIRST, and once you have a stable base, you could work from that if cars is your hobby. For financial reasons, I couldn't justify spending money on say angel eyes because at the moment, I'd rather spend that 50-60 dollars into say my regular oil change, sure angel eyes arent expensive but when you add up CAI, ecu tune, exhaust, all for 20 hp topsssss. Like I said, I'm in a different financial position than most BMW owners here but I do have class and culture even though my economic means aren't as great and my car has never died on me.

Well I seems that something either froze last night due to extreme cold temperatures or something came apart internally in the power steering pump. The belt squealed when I went out to warm her up this morning followed by a bang. It was apparent it was the power steering when I went turn the wheel.

Long story short! 1.5 hours to disassemble and 45 minutes to install. $167.00, versus $700+ at a local indie shop!

Learned more about my BMW today, it was a easy DIY!

Oh, so water freezes at 32 Degrees eh?

Also make sure to use the 25/32" socket when bolting up your gun rack.

A week after doing a cooling system refresh, I drove it, took a picture of the engine and made a project list on Pelican. The OCD tells me, I've got to redo the wire "loom" cover since it's obviously the original.
