Picked up car from shop today.
I have a 2004 330ci. 135k miles. Originally took it in to have the flex disc replaced. I couldn't get the heat shield off to do it myself. Good thing too- it turned out to not be the flex disc at all. It was the rear drive shaft center mount/support. Also, while my car was there I was informed that my front lower control arm bushings went bad. Which surprised the crap out of me because I had them replaced about two years ago - just before I upgraded to 20" rims - coincidence that they are now shot?? I think not. I attribute the fact that my replacement bushings went bad so quickly to the 20s. Now something useful - I initially thought I needed a valve cover gasket and almost did it myself. However while in the shop they checked it out and turned out to be the actual valve cover plastic. There were cracks around the coil holes which were causing vacuum leaks and oil leaks. You can remove the whole thing and examine yours. Also, there are rubber gasket pieces that sit under the coil holes - they essentially rot or turn to a plastic-like material. If that occurs I recommend replacing the top. It's about a $230 part. Next, putting in Scorpion exhaust and Warrior intake. |

Ordered my P46's. Spent an hour on the phone with ECS tuning over the second wrong part they sent me. They have horrible service and this is the last time I will order from them. Except for the $11 that they will not refund me and only give me store credit on.

I misinterpreted your post. sorry. But that refund policy is terrible but refund policy is something that all stores have the power to set unfortunately. Thats the risk you take when you order from Ecstuning and now everyone on the forum knows that. So thank you.

Ordered a pair of these from my BMW Dealership, OEM of course:
My old ones were quite yellow/matte. Next up: New DSC-wheel sensors, unless the old ones are just dirty. Need to troubleshoot as soon as the snow's gone! Last edited by RickyZone; 01-16-2013 at 08:46 AM. |

Ordered a pair of Bosch Icons to replace my OEM windshield wipers.
Bought a pair of 323/328 headers of a fellow member.

^ Where'd you get the lenses? Just curious because it has a lot of writing on the corner.

Weagle Weagle

Hit em with an orbital buffer and some cutting compound, then a finishing polish. Then seal them with some synthetic sealant. They'll look better than new.
