Yes and no.

It is a traditional throttle body, but not the fancy DBW the newer e46's have. The version in my car is cable actuated.

Seems to me you might be getting rid of material that might cause a gap and a loss of control in the throttle as well as a higher idle.
Are you the one who mirror polished the bore of the TB? Those tolerances are pretty tight. I wouldn't be surprised if your idle and mpg worsen as a result.

Removed battery, hardly any Acid corrosion (will still sort it) removed Passenger door card, foam and hung airbag out the way to look at regulator. My door speaker Tweeter not connected and can't see where it should plug in?! Will get pics tomorrow. Also removed the rear left wood trim as was stuck with blu tac!

Clay-bar'd my car,
Collinite'd my car with #845 - two coats.
Took it for a drive
Watched people's faces as they lip-synced "wow, thats a good looking convertible"

I can buy the stuff for $12 local to NC. Can ship to you for additional costs. Let me know via PM if interested. This stuff is for real. This is where it all started.

Today I decided to pull out my DISA valve because I'm a lazy **** and I haven't done it yet. So I pulled the necessary items out for ease of access, removed top screw, went to loosen bottom screw and found out IT WAS ALREADY LOOSE! Psssh... Wtf, homie? Anyways, removed the bottom screw, pulled it out, checked for resistance on the plenum, worked good, held vacuum, cleaned it up and put it back in (which took 5 times as long as it took me to get it out....... *ahem*). Anyways, it was a success. Didn't find it in pieces or loose and rattling and the pin was nice and tight. Good day.

Actually double-coated 4 cars this weekend:

First is my daughter's focus that was side-swiped the NEXT day at school (not her fault, no injuries).

Second is my wife's 11-Durango.

Third is parent's 08-LS-430

Fourth is my 04-325Cic
