Did my first oil change on my e46 today. Shockingly easier than doing it on a civic or IS300.

Sent from my SCH-I535 using Bimmer App

Washed with Chemical Guys Citrus soap and sealed the paint with Meguiar's #21. It looks sexy.

Cleaned/checked MAF, ICV, TB, DISA, CCV, CPS and rubbers.
Everything was surprisingly clean at 124K.
However, I found an almost complete crack on the lower CCV hose.
Interestingly, no codes were thrown, in fact the car passed the infamously
tough California smog test with flying colors 3 months ago!
I bandaged it up with some electrical tape until I get a new one.

Exact Set-up I have .. What did you set your rears at? After tons or research ,seems like 1 and 3/4 turns out is Koni's "sweet pot ,and 1 turn out in the front ( turn clockwise till it stops, then counterclockwise 1 turn) that has worked the best for me in my sedan.

New Bosch Marathon wiper blades and bought some tire shine so I can get the tires looking decent after my wash yesterday.

Decided, after 13 years of its existence, the E46 will become my daily winter/summer car.

My beater's winter tires fit perfectly on the stock 16's for winter
I also have 2 replacement ST coilover struts for summer use.

16" wheels + winters + max high on coilovers + spacers = hopefully some good winters to come!

Today was a busy day with the ol' E46. Started this morning installing a set of coilovers as well as applying tint all around. All this after a interesting 1ft fall onto the pavement after the jack gave up (I cant seem to understand why they equipped these cars with a jack stand that seems would have a hard time holding up a **** golf cart..) Luckly everything seems to have checked out okay, but alignment on the way

Ill second that weather finally got warm enough to give it a full detail yesterday. Finally does all the things I've done to it over the winter justice.

Reselling the beaters makes money. I didn't have to care about accidents/rust/scratches.

Now I'm just tired.
