Personally? His nephew was a yr older than me & we played football together, word has it he gave his own nephew a speeding ticket. Hes known for his window tint obsession.. And Ive been "cooked" for tint.

But tying back to the original topic, yes "tinted" running lights, turn lights, brakelights, headlights, etc are illegal. I know enough people who have been ticketed for each one. Its just a matter if the officer cares to make a deal ab it or not.

Just professionally.

I remember when HID's came out...cops around here had a fit cause they were "blue" lights. Smoked lenses are only legal if they were factory installed.

i just wish my headlights were as bright as they should be. FYI don't by Hid bulbs from Kholaty. they're awful. when i bought them i saw a huge improvement over my ten year old bulbs. but after i got in a budddys honda s2000 with hids it blew me away. any suggestions. im in college and need to be careful with money but im not afraid to spend a little to get the saftey of bright bulbs.

Khoality actually is a superb place to buy bulbs.. Your ploblem probably is with your projectors. Search "ZKW burnout" "burnt bowls" "FX-R retrofit" the stock projector bowls are plastics and get too hot and melt. And S2ks are known for their superb light output, and are the best/most desired in the world of projectors.

Left light is my new, retrofitted FX-R projector(with 6k bulb). Right is the stock, burntout ZKW projector(with 8k bulb). And both bulbs are from Khoality.

Car Fanatic, first BMW

New to the forum and being a BMW owner, just bought my first BMW 2009 328i - CPO w/25k...looking to black out the grill, windows, and power coat rims. Also want to get OE satellite radio, install cold air intake, and get all weather floor mats. Would love to check out cars and coffee, live in Plaza Midwood. http://s1.E46Fanatics.com/forum/imag...lies/wavey.gif

Hey,
Just moved back to Charlotte and own an e46. I live uptown (camden-southend) and work as a service adviser for eurowise. I look forward to attending a local e46 meet.

New Guy to BMW and Charlotte

Hey everyone - I just posed a New Member Intro this morning and figured that I'd pop on here to say hi as well.

http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=900299

I've been here for two years but officially relocated into the area last summer. Living down in south Charlotte right now. I've seen a few ZHP's driving around and of course there are a million or so BMW's in the area however most are not the enthusiast-type.

Hope to connect with some locals and will try to participate in any local meets, etc, that come along.

See ya around - Jay

Hey guys. Don't know if I have posted in here yet but I have been in Charlotte for a little over a year and a half now. Lived in Uptown for about a year but now live in Madison Park of Woodlawn. Don't know if you have seen me around town but wave if you do. My car is pictured in my sig.
