there's no way to tie into the lock input from the key fob?

yes an no....

When coding modules/ECU's you are editing preexistence command codes. These options are already programed into the modules and you can either nicht_aktiv or aktiv (activate or deactivate) each one. You add code because the modules wont know what to do, and could potentially fry it.

i wish i could have the autolock feature in my car. i called BMW in hickory to get a quote on turning on the autolocker feature and reprogram a new key and they said they were going to charge me $85.00 to do it. i said my @$$, i think i could live without it. so theinfamousdrew, what program you have to activate and deactivate your features. i would like to know so i could get it.
thanks

car care day!

changed my left front LCAB (did the right a couple months ago)
changed the cabin air filter
changed the oil
installed OEM wheel locks
flushed my whole brake system (had to try out my new Motive Power pressure bleeder)

everything i read said i'd use more than 1L of fluid to flush the system. i bought 2L. well, even after all 4 wheels were running clear blue fluid, i still only used 1/2L. anyone else done this?

I've spoke with you over on carolina euro boards previously. Would you be able to do a simple code turning the flashing on that is used during unlock/lock?

with everything he has invested in the software and cables and time to figure out the code, i'd still charge $20-30 per codeset if i were him.

oh, and if anyone wants to bleed their brakes, bring a 6-pack of beer over and you can use my pressure bleeder!
