What do you do with the significant other?
I'm running out of ideas lately.....
We've done/been..... Movies Dinner Go-Cart Racing Mini Golf Biking Bowling Concerts Walks The Mall Road Trips Of course you can't do something new every time and we love movies and dinner, so we probably do that the most..... Any other ideas, anything else you guys are doing..... |

i'm in the same boat.... i live in RI and i can't tell you how much we enjoy just chillin, cooking, and trying new places to eat
however (little did i know) there is a SHITLOAD of stuff to do around here locally... we have an RI Monthly magazine that I basically skim through every time i'm waiting at the dentist, so thats pretty seldom haha, but their are some GREAT ideas and writeups of things to do locally i'm sure you have something similar, no? even check online... a 10 minute search and i'm sure you could find some things to do and if the both of you are in good spirits about trying something (even if you don't think it will be fun)... you'll either have 1. a good time or 2. a laugh on the ride home ![]() For example Go to a local recreational arts place, pretty interesting stuff from all locals... Do a mini vaca (bed and breakfast a couple hours away) If you have the money, take a day trip to a nearby city... I plan on going to chicago for the day soon... leave at 6am get back same day at night Buy a fun cookbook and try a new recipe together once a week Try a different cuisine if you never had it before... depending on whats in your area lol Last edited by SurreyF1; 05-10-2010 at 12:20 PM. |

The first time my now wife and I went camping, it ended up being cold, raining most of the weekend (so we couldn't get a fire going), and the showers at the campsite were broken. We ended up eating the nearby Cracker Barrell for breakfast and dinner every day, and neither one of us wanted to say it, but we were both just ready to leave.
We still have good memories from the trip, and still talk/laugh about it Moral of the story: even bad trips together make good memories
