First AR, MP15 Sport

Sup everyone... total ar newb so just wanted to post my first AR...

first pic is when I first picked her up and bought some goodies.

2nd pic is the first set of goodies installed

3rd pic is me being OCD and replacing the handguard again with a diamondhead vrs FF, got matching magpul front sight, mako hand grip ,and installed a mako t-grip. this is even before shooting her

Being OCD again after my first range session, I got rid of my optics and replaced it with a lucid hd7, installed magpul BAD, and blackhawk sling. I didn't take pics but will soon.

Only thing I want to add would be the mega tactical trigger which seems impossible to find, and BA Ambi safety. Then off to go get cerakoted barret bronze.

Nice pick up! Enjoy it. If you're replacing the trigger and spending a lot, please seriously look at geissele, you won't get a better ar trigger imo.

When you're ready to Cerakote if youre sending it away shoot me a pm, good friends owns a shop and is a certified Cerakoter and hydrodipper. I think it's around $250 for a whole ar(receivers/rail)

Nuttin wrong with that.

I probably would have upgraded a model or two if you are going to mods.

But hey, it works.

Sports a good first AR
Missing the forward assist, dust cover, chrome lines barrel, etc
For range use and target shooting it fine

Have fun!

Great pick up for a first AR. One word of advice though. Go out and shoot it before you start adding these accessories. You have no baseline to measure to see if what you are adding has a positive or negative effect on your shooting.

Awesome AR for the price. I got mine for $599 shipped before the crazyness. Never had a malfunction with it. You can keep it light or bog it down with other stuff. Depends on how you want to play. This is an old picture of my bloated light weight M&P sport...........

ACOG is off, running something different now. Spikes 37mm was on there just because I could. Front A frame sight is off and GG&G sight is mounted on new gas block. Never did any interior work....comp is awesome but loud.

Stripped...and stock...the M&P is the best bang for the buck. 20 years in the military, all the add on crud, dust cover, forward assist....not needed. But nice to dress it up time to time.
