Getting my car back this week! And new one next!

Well my car is finally coming back this week after the disaster i had with the SMG hydraulic unit, as you can see in the other thread i had made about my accident... At first they were going to total the car but then they decided to reconsider, which i was extatic about because to me the car is very rare... (Black e46 325i with SMG tranny with peanut butter interior)... so finally i will be getting it back this week and then driving down to AA to have my NEW supercharger and performance headers installed... i will be keep an update progress thread on the mods that i will be putting on this car...

mods so far include
-AA exhaust system
-Halos
-LED smoked tails
-Stop-tech brake kit
-Smoked corners
-AFE Stage 1 intake
-19x8.5, 19x9.5 Avante Gardes
-KW Variant 1 Coilovers

car when i bought it

car right before the accident

i hit a boulder, that i could not avoid, about the size of a basketball and tore my undercarriage apart... cracked the SMG hydraulic unit, shattered the oil pan bent some of the mid-sections of the exhaust, but everything will be brand spanking new this week! the hydraulic unit alone for the SMG was up around $4,600 (that's not the insurance price). The only reason why it took so long is because i was getting a huge runaround from the insurance company and then the hydraulic unit had to be ordered from Germany because it's not a common part...

after effects of accident

And for the second part of my story, i jus purchased a '05 Imola Red 330ci ZHP with only 42k on it... this car will be turboed hopefully by the fall, maybe even late summer (going to take a look at Technique Tuning). So my plan is to go back and forth with mods for each vehicle so that have a share of equal loving! my 325 should be good to go by the end of the week finally and then the 330ci should be in my hands in a weeks time! i will have updated pics of both when there are finally back in my presence!

How were you able to recover the cost from insurance for that one?

Give the guys at Kaizen tuning a call in Acton. Pretty sure they could help you out with your builds. By then they should have 4 800-1000hp GTRs, 1200hp Challenger SRT8, 800hp 996TT, and a 500hp Evo X done. They know big power and how to build it safely

My question is are they cost effecient? lol i have researches that Technique Tuning looks to make a very reliable kit that is capable of 320+ hp with other mods that i do plan on. but if you say this place in Acton is legit and fair priced then i will give them a look..

I wish my Subscribed Threads button would work so I could sub this thread instead of searching for it later on.

I can vouch that they know what they're doing. Call them and ask their tech or owner about builds. I guess then you can get an idea of what price range it'd be in

No. You're really getting ANOTHER car? On top of the 325 and S4?
