The manifold mounted liquid heat exchanger gets its cooling from a separate high capacity cooling circuit with front mount heat exchanger.

VERY cool. Always have people asking for a supercharger for the less popular BMW's (to be modded) like the 7 series. Can't wait!

I know someone that has an E53 4.8is that MUST look into this. I will notify them

I'm just looking for a short answer here: what does 'TVS' stand for and what does it refer to? I'm guessing the VANOS and Valvetronic systems?

Which level of trim would a 2006 X5 4.8is have, TVS1 or TVS2?

TVS stands for "Twin Vortices Series", which is Eaton's newest rotorpack lineup. Very similar to a Twin Screw SC in efficiency, but it has even more bottom range torque.

The ESS TVS1 kit is the non intercooled, but upgradeable stage and the TVS2 is the intercooled version of the kit. Both will fit all models.

Looks good. It will be the first kit for the x45/x50 engines.

Dont forget to make a good reachable filler cap on the top for
the water cooling system.

No, we offer the Lysholm Twin Screw (TS) based systems for the E46. Very similar function.

I ask the question because you noted that the new setup has more torque than the TS

Yes, the new TVS SC unit comes in even earlier with full boost than the TS. But both are very good at making a lot of torque throughout the RPM band.
